Hot Peppers are Healthy

Capsicum is the Botanical name for peppers.

Capsaicin is the active ingredient found in peppers that creates a burning sensation once ingested. The burn felt while eating a jalapeno, habanero or cayenne pepper comes directly from the foods capsaicin.
